We’ve partnered with you in affirming the volunteers in your church. We’ve helped you celebrate Christmas with Ornaments of Faith and Easter with Gospel Eggs. We provide dozens of free resources designed to save time (and dollars).
But now we invite you to re-think our partnership. We’re aiming at a massive makeover, a total renovation. We want to partner with you in product creation.
You talk. We listen.
What would help you serve God’s people even better? What do you lay awake at night wishing you could have because it would make your ministry so much more effective?
On this website, we will
- Share the plans we’re making for your upcoming “affirmation celebrations‚”
- Provide an environment in which you can share questions, answers, thoughts, and prayer requests with one another; and
- Open a channel through which you can share with us your product ideas and ministry concerns.
We hope this feedback loop will make it possible for us to engage you and your church in full partnership with us.
CTA exists to glorify God by providing purposeful products to lift up and encourage the body of Christ.
CTA’s vision is to see your Christian ministry become highly effective, so that Christ’s Kingdom is strengthened and expanded.
Since 1990, CTA has been “providing purposeful products to uplift and encourage the Body of Christ.” You have to hear our story to fully appreciate all that God has done for us and then through us.
In brief, CTA began in Steve and Diane Darr’s spare bedroom, after Steve lost his job in a corporate merger. It moved from there to a basement “warehouse.”Then, after several years of listening to customers, breaking in new customer database software, finding reliable vendors, and hiring staff one by one, CTA made the move to our first “real office” in 1994. By 2000, the company needed even more space and moved to the offices and warehouse in Fenton, MO where we now reside. (Find more detailed history here.)
As Steve and Diane look back at those “beginning years” they still find themselves amazed at all God has done and all the blessings he continues to shower on CTA. One Scripture sums it up:
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine, to him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus, for all generations, forever and ever. Amen. (Ephesians 3:20-21 NIV)
