Help Your Church’s Children Learn & Tell the Christmas Story

Good News, Great Joy. That’s the theme for CTA’s new church-wide Christmas theme this year. We kept everyone in mind as we developed it – especially the kids! Like you, we want them to learn the Christmas story, the great and joyful good news of a Savior born for them. And like you, we want them to be able to tell that story with confidence and enthusiasm.

That’s why we create a new book for Christmas each year. (This year is no exception!) It’s why we base two children’s Christmas programs on the book – one for preschoolers and one for elementary-age kids each year and make them available for free. (This year is no exception!)

And it’s why in addition to doing those things for Christmas 2013, we have also developed two other value-priced products you can use in your church. Here are two examples:

  • Good News, Great Joy foam puppets. There are four puppets. They come with four free devotions for use in the four weeks leading up to Christmas. A matching key fob for parents comes with questions parents and other grownups at home can use to start faith conversations. Children can use the puppets to tell and retell the Christmas story.
  • Good News, Great Joy  wall stickers. Kids can use these, too, to tell and retell the story of our Savior’s birth. Displayed in the child’s room or next to the Christmas tree as a reminder of the real meaning of Christmas, the stickers can be attached to walls and removed without damaging the paint.

How will you help everyone in your church learn about and witness to the Good News, Great Joy of Christmas this year?
