Jellybeans have been a part of my Easter celebration for as long as I can remember. As a mother and a kindergarten teacher, I have used the Jellybean Prayer to help my own children and my students prepare to celebrate Easter in a meaningful way. I’ve always found the lesson teachable because children love colors and relate so well to them. As the children and I read the prayer together, we discuss the meaning of the words.

The Jellybean Prayer is a great way to remind those in our schools and churches about the love that comes from Jesus. Can you imagine? He loved us so much He was willing to die for us. Use them at your outreach event at church and don’t forget about all those visitors that come on Easter morning. They would love getting their own Easter egg – who doesn’t love a little candy along with the greatest message ever. We never know whose life will be changed because of the sweet message of Jesus!
