Men of God, do you ever get tired? (I know, . . . stupid question.) Well, just as I was about to throw a pity party this week, I was reminded that our faithful Lord will renew the strength of those who wait upon Him (Isaiah 40:31).

You’ve probably noticed in recent years the restaurant term “waiter/waitress” has been replaced with “server.” Hmmm. Maybe God is saying that our strength will be renewed not as sit around and wait for Him to bless us, but as we serve Him with all our heart! Serving Him in that way brings me joy, and He has promised that His joy will be my strength (Nehemiah 8:10).
