“Grieving with Hope” and “Facing Illness with Hope”

I don’t know that I’ve had a greater passion for anything I’ve had published than I have for Grieving with Hope and Facing Illness with Hope. And I love that the team at CTA thought of special details when publishing these resources. We knew the books couldn’t be long or cumbersome. People who are sick or grieving usually can’t comprehend much more than small segments at a time. The book is short, yet powerful. It’s easy to carry and fits into a pocket or purse. You don’t need to read the book from start to finish. You can open it at any point and find hope and help. The developers used a font a little larger than normal, knowing readers may have tears in their eyes and the print size might make a difference. You’ll find many call-outs – a few short segments from the text or a Scripture – that stand out on the page. When our minds are burdened, even a sentence of hope or one Scripture verse that stands out can comfort. And, as I’ve stated in other entries, the books are inexpensive. CTA wanted to make them easily available to the most people possible. CTA has a passion for encouraging – a passion for bringing hope to the largest number of people possible. Grieving with Hope: Leaning on Jesus and Facing Illness with Hope: Leaning on Jesus will meet those goals, bringing the blessings of hope and comfort to many, many people.

By the way, how have you or someone you know benefited by the books? Are there other details about the book you found helpful?
